Deposit: The $350 USD (Medellín, Cali, Mexico City) / €350 EUR (Barcelona) deposit is non-refundable from the time of booking and is applied toward your total trip cost.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 60 days before the immersion start date.
Cancellations & Refund Schedule (applies to amounts paid beyond the deposit):

Transfers: You may transfer your booking to a future Somoloco immersion one time if requested 30 or more days before your original start date. The transfer must be used within 12 months. All payments, including the deposit, apply to the new booking.
Medical Emergency or Bereavement: In the event of a documented medical emergency or bereavement preventing you from attending, we may, at our discretion, hold your full payment (including deposit) as a credit toward a future immersion within the next 12 months.
If Somoloco Cancels the Immersion: If we cancel for reasons within our control, you will receive a full refund of all payments including the deposit, or the option to apply the full amount as credit toward a future immersion. Cancellations or disruptions caused by events outside our control are governed by the Force Majeure and Trip Disruption section of our Terms & Conditions.
Disruption from Events Outside Our Control: Earthquakes, storms, epidemics, civil unrest, government restrictions, and similar events can affect an immersion in ways no operator can prevent. Where this happens, we prioritize participant safety and will modify or substitute programming where we can. Our full policy, including how credits are calculated, is set out in the Force Majeure and Trip Disruption section of our Terms & Conditions.
Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against personal emergencies, flight disruptions, visa issues, or other unforeseen circumstances not covered by this policy.
This policy applies to Somoloco Immersions in all destinations.
